OK. So let's talk about the dreaded RFID for a second.

We all know it's been around for a while. Heck, it's probably in your cat!

But did you know that it's spreading all over the world at an astonishing rate??? If you didn't, take a minute and read all about the RFID on Wikipedia

So what's the big deal with RFID? Well, of course, since more and more of these things are being used for more and more purposes, the internals are being exposed to all sorts of people. As a society, we rely to heavily on RFID even now. But it's going to the extreme and as more people get their hands on the technology, a few decide to exploit the system.



So now we have RFID viruses... malware... etc. Does your cat have a virus? Maybe. Can someone overheat an RFID tag and explode it inside a cow? Maybe. How about steal your personal information off your Social Security Card ?! Maybe. Or could they just get it from your Drivers License? Maybe.

It's been proven that RFID tags can be viewed by as much as 30 feet away!
